Urban Hymnal 4
On Saturday, May 30, Urban Hymnal, a Seattle-based music ensemble including friends of Awake Church, performed “The Bridge, the Corner, and the Dawn,” a concert of ambient synth rock and meditation that explored the themes of sexual exploitation, addiction, suicide, and hope on Aurora Avenue.
The music, art, and prayers of this night were breathtaking. Awake is thankful for the creative way that Urban Hymnal blessed and challenged the city, the neighborhood, and the church. And we’re thankful that you can get the music of “The Bridge, the Corner, and the Dawn” here!
Remember, Aurora means dawn.
